Current research

I am a co-op student working with the Metaxas Lab this summer, focusing on 3D photogrammetry of kelp in the Eastern Shore Islands, Nova Scotia. My project involves developing methodology for photogrammetric analysis and conducting kelp transects to assess percent cover and density. Through this work, we aim to determine how photogrammetry can be used as a tool to study and monitor kelp ecosystems.
